Click here to access the sign up sheet for the upcoming Layton Temple Grounds Volunteer Assignment. We need three volunteers from our stake for each day of the assignment.
Here is the information that came from temple regarding the assignment:
Your shift will be from 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
Meet in the Grounds Shop in the Southeast corner of the parking lot. There you will gather with the other volunteers to receive instructions on the assignments for the day.
Please wear modest shirts, pants and closed toe shoes that can be worked in. You will be kneeling and working among a variety of plants so it is helpful if your clothing is comfortable and protective.
You may bring a hat, gloves, kneeling pad if desired, and water. All the gardening tools needed will be provided to you.
Volunteers must be physically able to walk, bend down, be in the heat, and work for the full period of the assignment.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Temple recommends are not required for this assignment, however, volunteers must be willing to keep all church standards while serving.
