The church farm needs our help again this week with more weeding of the bean plants. This week we are working on the patch located on the southwest corner of 2200 W and Hill Field Road, across from the fire station.
We need 15 members from each ward to fill this assignment. Remember, this is a family friendly opportunity. All family members are invited. Last week many people showed up and the work moved quickly.
We have made arrangements to park on the new, unfinished road that will eventually open up directly onto West Hill Field Road. There will be someone there to direct you past the cones. Once onto the new road, you will be able to park along both sides right next to the patch we are weeding. Please do not drive south of the south end of the bean patch as the road is not open or finished and Layton City has asked us not to go exploring.
When: Tuesday, July 23, 6:30 PM.
Where: West of the Fire Station on Hill Field Road.
Tools needed: A shovel or a hoe is recommended.
Water bottles will be provided at the head of the field.
